Ice Age In The Record Books

Ever feel like walking off the face of an iced cliff with your favorite Ice Age characters?

In a span of 6 days, German artist Edgar Mueller painted the worlds largest 3D pavement art outside the Westfield shopping center. Characters in the painting include Manny, Buck, Sid, Diego, Scrat and Scratte.

Is Ice Age Th4w one sequel too far?

There seems to be a lot of debate out there as to whether or not Ice Age Th4w will be any good. When looking at movies, there is always that 3 factor. Not many movies were very successful after their third. Sure there is always those that break the rules, but will Ice Age Th4w be one of the greats?

With a story line jumping so far, some people are against this film before it has even come out. Personally, I think the story line is great. Even with doubts about, I can see future sequels stemming from Ice Age Th4w.

What's your opinion on the matter, do you think Ice Age Th4w will do any good in the theaters? Can you imagine a future to Ice Age after Th4w?

Ice Age

The original film in the Ice Age series was released in 2002. It was directed by Carlos Saldanha and Chris Wedge with the story by Michael J. Wilson. The opening scene in this Ice Age is where we first meet Scrat. Scrat is seen throughout the movie making attempts to hide his nut. Manny, mammoth meets up with Sid, a sloth then later Diego, a saber toothed tiger before embarking on an unusual journey. With a human baby to return and a group of saber toothed tigers hunting them down, who knows what will happen.

The original Ice Age was popular, Ice Age The Meltdown was even bigger, and Ice Age Dawn Of The Dinosaurs in 3D was huge. After such a successful run why wouldn't you make a fourth? It only makes sense, and I like where they are headed with this one.

The plot of Ice Age Th4w (Ice Age Thaw) is going to take place in a more modern time. Some of the old cast including favorites like Manny, Sid, Diego, Ellie, and Scrat will be back. Having been frozen during the ice age and thawed out in modern day, who knows what kind of trouble Scrat will get into now.
